We had the opportunity to address a roof leak in a fairly new roof in Lehi. It’s not every day that you see a roof that's only two years old already dealing with leaks. This issue arose because the previous roofer had simply filled leftover holes with caulk, which is not a long-term solution for preventing leaks.
When we arrived, it was clear that these quick fixes were insufficient and causing discomfort for the homeowner. First, we thoroughly assessed the extent of the damage around the holes and checked adjacent shingles for any flaws that could exacerbate the problem.
Once we identified problem areas, we replaced the compromised shingles and ensured there was a solid and weatherproof seal, avoiding shortcuts like caulk. Fixing it right the first time prevents further hassle for the homeowner and preserves the roof’s integrity.
Beyond repairs, we discussed future preventive measures with the homeowner, recommending high-quality shingles that would better withstand weather changes and last longer. We take pride in providing honest, reliable work that helps homeowners feel secure in their homes.
